The 13th Day

Jeanine and I just finished watching "The 13th Day". I must admit that I liked the 1952 version "The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima" a lot more. This newer version left out a lot of detail and was (in my humble opinion) cheesier than a 200 pound block of Mozzarella.  Also, the young Lucia's voice drove me nuts and every time she spoke I wanted to puncture my eardrums with a dull Q-Tip.

I probably shouldn't be so harsh.  I do applaud the movie makers at trying to get this very important and relevant message out to a larger audience.  Unfortunately, this must have been done on a very small budget.  The graphic effects of the 2009 version aren't much better than the 1952 version.
